Message from Feb 17

01.03.2013 | Veronika Torokova

Another key ISBHF BOD meeting was held on Sunday February 17. Many key issues were discussed and here is a quick synopsis for our ISBHF family.
We heard from the nation of Luxembourg who has a youth and adult ball hockey program running in this key new European nation. This organization has a board and infrastructure to add to our growing strength in this area of Europe which bodes well for all nations. The ISBHF BOD passed the application of Luxembourg and thus we have a new family member to join our family of nations. Welcome Luxembourg!

ISBHF Conference Koln

29.01.2013 | Veronika Torokova

I would like to thank the German Ball Hockey Federation for bringing us to Koln. What a beautiful city and yes you can feel the hockey culture here as our nations converged for our annual general meeting.

The meeting was made even more interesting for first time National President's, Shelley Callaghan of Canada and Jozef Stumpel of Slovakia attending, amongst the many other people who attended. The ISBHF team came together to move our agenda forward to meet the goals of making this game better for all our regions and players, and towards our Olympic ideal.

Presidents Message

06.12.2012 | Stepan Sipal

It has been a very eventful first many months of my tenure with our Board here at the ISBHF. When I look back I think how fortunate I have been to be in an environment where we have all had to communicate and get to know each other better. It has given us the ability to move forward as a greater family with stronger ties. I have enjoyed meeting all of the people I have to date, spoken to on the phone, and look forward to meeting those I will meet in the future that work for our players, teams and sport. Through this opportunity to meet and speak with many of the key boards of our World organization, I can tell you that we are all moving forward in our goals to make this sport more transparent, democratic and towards its Olympic objective. As a common movement. And our directional beacon.

Presidents message

25.01.2012 | George Gortsos

This past weekend I had the honour of becoming the third President of the ISBHF. I believe that as a player and coach I have always strived to play ball hockey in a skilled and team way. Now I have a chance to work with all the great leaders of our sport throughout the World who love the game like we all do. I met some great people in Paris. And I would like to thank the representatives of all our member nations who voted me in on behalf of ball hockey players around the World. This is an honour I will handle with the honesty and hard work that made me a successful player and coach. I want to share the main keys that I will strive to work with my fellow board members to make this game better around the World.
